Born John Harberger, and known variously as John Pico John; John P. John; and Mr. John, Mr. John was world famous in the 1940's and 1950's for his millinery designs. His clients included film, stage, and opera stars, including Lauren Bacall, Gloria Vanderbilt, Gloria Swanson and the Duchess of Windsor.
